Dr. Niksa Bareza is a general practitioner with extensive additional training in acupuncture, Chinese diagnostics, and Chinese herbal medicine. He holds Austrian Medical Chamber (ÖÄK) diplomas in acupuncture as well as ear acupuncture from the Austrian Society for Controlled Acupuncture (OGKA). In addition, he has obtained advanced training diplomas in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture from renowned universities in Beijing, Nanjing, and Wuhan, as well as from the Sports University Chengdu and the Dr. He Tian Xiang Orthopedic Hospital in Chengdu.In addition, he serves as a lecturer for the Austrian Society for Controlled Acupuncture (OGKA). Since 1995, Dr. Bareza has been deeply engaged in Taiji Quan (Yang style) and Qigong, inspired and guided by his teacher Oswald Elleberger. He has been teaching since 1999. Dr. Bareza is also the co-author of the book „Applied Anti-Aging Medicine”, edited by Univ. Prof. DDr. R. Gasser (University Clinic Graz, Cardiology), in which he focuses on Taiji Quan and Anti-Aging.
