Dr Matthias Huemer is a specialist in internal medicine and holds various diplomas and qualifications. He holds the acupuncture diploma from the Austrian Medical Association (ÖÄK) and the TCM diploma from the ÖÄK. He also holds a diploma in palliative medicine from the Austrian Academy of Acupuncture (ÖAK) and an ear acupuncture diploma from the Austrian Society for Controlled Acupuncture (OGKA).
Dr Huemer has completed an intensive course at the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing and is the OGKA's representative for science and youth. He is also the Austrian Ambassador of the Society of Acupuncture Research.
