Georg Weidinger is a general practitioner, emergency physician, yoga teacher and musician. Studied Traditional Chinese Medicine with Dr. Francois Ramakers and Prof. Mag. phil. Dr. med. Gertrude Kubiena, ongoing further training in TCM, among others with Barbara Kirschbaum and Dr. Gunter Neeb. He completed a 4-year yoga teacher and Sanskrit training at Yoga-Pushpa in Vienna (Dagmar Shorny, Ria Hodges) in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya/ Desikachar. He also studied psychology, piano and composition at the University of Vienna.
Since 2001 he has been running his own practice for TCM, acupuncture and yoga. Weidinger is the author of 16 books, mainly on TCM and yoga. Since 2015 he has been president of the Austrian Society for TCM, and since 2016 he has been running his own school and courses for TCM in Bad Sauerbrunn. Georg Weidinger is a Buddhist and lives with his wife, three children and many animals in Burgenland, Austria.
